New Approach Methodologies, or NAMs, are increasingly seen as critical to phasing out animal testing. These non-animal methods have the potential to support more ethical and human-relevant science.

Dermal absorption NAMs in cosmetic safety assessment are becoming an increasingly important area as safety assessment shifts from hazard-driven to exposure-led science.
